Vidya Sahayi, initiated in the year 2000, is a transformative project dedicated to uplifting socially and economically backward students and their families. With a strong focus on preventing vulnerable children from entering the care home system, the project is committed to providing essential support, empowering them to grow and receive an education within the nurturing environment of their own families alongside their parents or loved ones.

The project primarily targets economically and socially disadvantaged children in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram district and Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari district. This includes children who have lost their guardian, been abandoned, or belong to families facing health challenges, ensuring they can remain within the care and support of their families.
