The Secondary School Leaving Certificate results came out! From our foster homes 5 girls were attending these exams and all of them passed. Nandha is the top scorer, with 7 “A+” marks and 3 “A”. Sandra is the second one, she studied in an English medium school and scored 5 “A+”, 3 “A” and 2 “B”. The other three also passed with good grades.
Among our “outside sponsored” children, 67 students wrote the exams and all are qualified for higher studies! Among them Genga, from Perumala (Nedumagadu), and Kaveri Krishnan, from Mundela (Nedumangadu), scored “A+” in all subjects! While Sruthy Mariya, from Poonthura (Trivandrum), scored 5 “A+”, 4 “A” and 2 “B”.
Also the results of the Higher Secondary Education final exams came out. From our foster homes 12 students wrote the exam and 9 passed with good grades. Among them, Sajitha is the top scorer with 2 “A+” and 4 “A”.
From the “outside sponsored” children, 50 wrote their exams in Kerala and 5 in Tamil Nadu. Sreekutty, from Vellanad, and Aksa, from Pozhiyoor, scored ALL “A+”!!! And both of them in Science subject, the most difficult. In Tamil Nadu, Karthik, from Manalivilai, scored 971 marks out of 1200 and is the top scorer.
Without a sponsorship none of these brilliant students could get the possibility to study and to show everybody their talent and knowledge! Help us in helping them: sponsor a child now!!!
