Ammachi Project

Every day our NGO staff has to deal with the many help requests advanced by old and sorrowful Indian widows, having no one to take care of them. Many are seriously ill or taking the burden of past sad events on their shoulders. That’s why we thought to initiate a specific aiding project – Ammachi Project - addressed to selected aged people of the surrounding areas.

Such scheme implies a monthly allowance that might be used for their own needings like medicines and food. Some of them are also getting house maintenance help, like roof remaking, new toilet, according to their necessities and wish.

As of today, a total of nearly 200 old aged people are benefiting out of this projects. In addition, food kits are being issued during the festival season of Onam and Christmas.
